STANDING RULES

    1. The Altrusa Club of the Eastern Sierra shall hold its business meeting on the second Thursday of each month beginning with dinner at 5:30pm and meeting at 6:00pm. The Program meeting will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month at noon and have a limited agenda focusing the hour-long meeting on a speaker. Either Business or Program meetings may be cancelled by the Board of Directors due to holiday complications.

    2. The club shall pay a part of each delegate and alternate’s expenses to attend the District Conference; the conference amount to be determined annually by a vote of the membership.  If there is any money left from the budgeted conference amount after delegate and alternate expenses are paid, then additional members attending conference may have a portion of their registration fees reimbursed.

    3. The club shall pay a part of each delegate and alternate’s expenses to attend the International Convention, the amount to be determined annually by a vote of the membership.

    4. Fines and brags shall be collected at each Business meeting.

        • Absence from meetings without good cause $1.00
        • Failure to wear Altrusa pin at a meeting $1.00
        • Birthdays $1.00
        • Brags $1.00

    5. There shall be a door prize at the Business Meetings.

    6. An award shall be presented to each member having perfect attendance for the year by the outgoing President at the installation meeting.

    7. These Standing Rules will be reviewed and amended annually by the Board of Directors.
