50% of new Board members attend District Conference

- Club pays all registration fees. Room may be paid if budget allows.
- Educate members about District all year long.
- Make attending Conference part of Board job description.

- Club raises money for General Fund by January via Book Sale, garage Sale, 50/50, Brags, and Christmas Party
- Have a District Accent at each Program Meeting.
- Communicate a Governor message at each Business Meeting.
- Describe workshops and encourage signup for each
- Encourage President and Treasurer to attend their respective workshops

Ensure Board members and Committee Chairs understand their roles and responsibilities

- Develop job descriptions specific to Club for each Board member
- Train Board members.
- Train Committee Chairs

- Type job descriptions utilizing International’s guidelines (By April 2004)
- Hold joint Board meetings/workshops in April of each year
- Outgoing Board members meet with and train incoming Board members
- Assign members to best committees for them; Develop questionnaire to identify individual strengths and weaknesses by June 2007.
- Include questionnaire in new member packet starting in June 2007
- Distribute questionnaire to all members every April, beginning in 2004.
- Outgoing Committee Chairs train new Committee Chairs in May of each year.
