ANNUAL ART SHOW AND SALE

At this fundraiser local artists are invited to display their original artwork as well as prints and note cards for sale to the public. Each year we choose a different artist to be highlighted as our featured artist. Altrusa keeps a small percentage of proceeds to fund its activities.

In 2005, there were a total of 24 local artists selling 179 original paintings and the featured artist was Bob Griffith, (below, top left). Sonia Truelsen's pastel painting "Faithful Friend" was voted Best of Show, (below, top right). Joy Niewald generously donated one of her paintings for our raffle, (below, bottom left). Debby Christiana of Mammoth Lakes, CA had the winning raffle ticket out of 685 sold, (below, bottom right).
