This large-scale event is held every Spring at the Tri-County Fairground and promotes literacy while at the same time raising funds and having fun. The event usually includes activities such as a petting zoo and puppet shows for storytelling. Bookmarks are given to all preschoolers and elementary students as part of a campaign to promote reading. Tickets are sold for games, crafts, and a there is a bake walk.
