Please join us on Saturday, FEBRUARY 11, 2012 at 11:30am. for an afternoon featuring an elegant 3 course service, delectable Teas, a silent auction, and lively entertainment at the First United Methodist Church, located on 205 N. Fowler in Bishop, California. Seating is limited so buy your tickets today! Only $35 each.
Valentine Tea Featuring:
- Teas of the World from China, Sri Lanka, and Kenya
- Ajiri Tea, a Kenyan Black Tea, will be available for sale. Each box is decorated with a Handmade Label and Tie. Proceeds from the sale of this tea will help to provide educational assistance to orphans of Western Kenya, our International Literacy Project.
- A Three Course Luncheon to accompany the Teas of the World
- Beautiful unique table settings–Each table set with special china belonging to the Mum of the table
- Opportunity to participate in a Silent Auction and Raffle to win one of many Valentine Gift Baskets or Treasures.
- A selection of hats to “borrow” for the day donated by “hat” ladies, Ginny Rude and Eileen Schain
The proceeds for this event support our literacy efforts in Inyo and Mono Counties which have included: Cerro Coso Library, Bishop Middle School Library, the GED program at the Conservation Camp, Teacher Scholarship awards, Books and Barn Animals Jamboree, Story Telling, Readers Theater, and so much more.
